This beautiful northern themed cottage has a wonderful view of peaceful no wake Lost Lake. This is a fantastic location for a quiet get away or fishing trip.
This four bedroom Three bath home has been finished with knotty pine and log furniture to give you a relaxing up north environment, The lake side features plenty of large windows giving you an elevated view of Lost Lake. Lost Lake is a no wake 104 acre lake with great fishing and paddlesports. There is a DNR boat launch available for your boat. The lake also gets good ice every winter for ice fishing, The cabin sits above the lake but has easy to navigate steps down to the waters edge.

Our stay was wonderful. The cabin and lake are beautiful. The paddleboat and kayaks were used often, along with the fishing pier. There is a fire pit too which is great to relax by when its later in the evening.

If you use this place be prepared and buy basic essentials such as saran wrap/aluminium foil and grilling tools. I was suprised these simple things were not provided. And the pots and pans are pretty much all cast iron. So bring plenty of pan spray and oil.

We had a great stay! There are 14 people in our family and had plenty of room. Having 3 bathrooms was very nice. We swam, caught fish, kayaked, used the paddle boat, hiked near by trails and visited Mackinaw Island. We brought food but everything else we needed was already there. Bad storm came through and our host Steve was very quick to contact us to see if all was well. We loved it at Lost Lake Cottage and are planning a return trip!

The most important item for us: 3 full bathrooms for 10 people.....priceless!!! As for other items-Smart lock was easy to navigate. Driveway easily accompanied our 4 vehicles. A truck and trailer would also fit nicely. The downstairs has a big tv & access to outside making it easy to get around without bugging the people on the upper level. The main level also has a big tv & comfy furniture. There's no dishwasher which we knew ahead of time & planned accordingly by bringing throw away plates & utensils. All & all, this place was great for our winter get away with friends like family.

The house was very accommodating for our family. Lots of room! Very comfortable, very clean. The lone disappointment was the lack of fish in the lake. Despite all our efforts not a single fish could be found. While it was too cool for swimming with a fall visit, the lake looks like it would be a great swimming lake. Not a weed in site.

A very spacious well maintained home with plenty of room for large families. Having a bathroom on each of the 3 floors was very nice. Watching the sun come up over the lake each morning while enjoying a nice hit cup of coffee was a big bonus. We will definitely be looking at availability again during the beautiful Michigan summer.
